Cold and Flu Tablets Manufacturer in India

Strava Healthcare makes cold and flu tablets for pharmaceutical distributors, OTC brands, and export markets. Cold and flu combinations work by addressing multiple symptoms at once. A decongestant handles nasal congestion, an antihistamine dries up rhinorrhoea, an analgesic/antipyretic manages pain and fever, and sometimes a cough suppressant or expectorant rounds it out. The appeal for patients is obvious one tablet instead of four.

Common combinations include paracetamol, phenylephrine, chlorphenamine, and caffeine. We also make variants with guaifenesin for productive cough, and formulations without antihistamine for patients who can’t tolerate drowsiness. Full batch documentation, GMP-certified.

Cold and flu combinations tablets are widely consumed to get relief from cold and runny nose symptoms in Cambodia, Uzbekistan, Somalia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Ghana, Burundi, Rwanda, DRC Congo and Angola.

Frequently Asked Questions

They should be cautious. Phenylephrine and pseudoephedrine cause vasoconstriction — that’s how they reduce congestion — but the same mechanism raises blood pressure. Hypertensive patients should avoid decongestant-containing products unless a physician has cleared it. We manufacture phenylephrine-free formulations specifically for this group, so there’s a reasonable product option without just telling that patient population to go without.

It works well for rhinorrhoea — that’s not in question. The trade-off is drowsiness, which is a real limitation for daytime use but actually useful at night. Some brands prefer pheniramine or drop the antihistamine entirely for their daytime formula. We can formulate either way, and the daytime/night-time dual-pack format is one approach that sidesteps the compromise by using different actives for each.
